I've owned several motorcycles in my life. When I followed the steps below I ended up with the best price and felt great about my purchase. When I strayed from these steps... or went solely on impulse... I always ended up spending more than I wanted for a bike I didn't 'really' want. I hope these 3 suggestions can help you ride away on a motorcycle that you will thoroughly enjoy - from the performance to your wallet.
1.) Do Your Research
Read news stories to be up to date on the latest motorcycle models and to find out about any negative feedback. Articles are another great source of research to help you find exactly what you're looking for from performance to speed to potential costs. And since the perfect motorcycle isn't just about how well it runs... be sure to check out some pictures to see which one catches your eye.
2.) Watch Motorcycle Review Videos
Reviews have been around for quite some time and are a great way to get feedback from other motorcycle owners' about their experiences. But now... there are tons of review videos that blend the importance of personal owner experiences with the power of video. Hear it, see it and feel it. Video reviews will really help you buy a motorcycle that you will truly love instead of one you can tolerate.
3.) Shop At Least Three Sources
Don't just buy a cheap motorcycle from the first dealer or store you go to. Check out a local dealer but also shop the internet for the best deals. Don't forget that Ebay offers local searches so you can find a great deal on a low cost motorcycle in your area. You can still see it and test it out before buying... and definitely save some money in the process. Compare three sources and then make the best decision.
